FOR PRIORIPLANNER USERS

PrioriPlanner is becoming Intent.

Two years of your wishes, reviews, and patience went into this. We read every request on the board and every review you left — then we rebuilt the app from the first line. Intent is PrioriPlanner's next act: the same app, with a much better brain.

Before anything else, the three things you actually care about:

  • It's the same App Store listing.

Intent arrives as an update, not a new download. Your 4.6 stars built it; you keep the history.

  • Your tasks come with you.

Everything you've planned migrates into Intent when you join.

  • Your subscription carries over.

Monthly, yearly, or lifetime — same purchase, same entitlement. Nothing to rebuy, nothing to re-enter.

YOUR VOTES, DELIVERED

You asked. We built it.

Every wish on the request board was counted, and the top of the ballot got built. Here's where your votes went.

63 votes

Time blocking

The #1 request, by a mile. Give tasks real minutes, drag them into your morning, and plan today against the calendar you actually keep.

36 votes

Real multi-device sync

“I will pay for it,” one of you wrote. Your plan now lives in a real account in the cloud — iPhone and iPad, always in step, never trapped on one device.

32 votes

Impact / Value quadrants

Quick Wins, Big Bets, Filler, Time Sinks — the exact vocabulary you asked for. And if you think in different words, rename any quadrant to match.

19 votes

A true matrix view

All four quadrants on one screen with your tasks visible — the whole map at once, not one list at a time.

18 + 9 votes

Calendar, and the focus feature is back

Your Apple Calendar beside your tasks, plus the focus feature you missed — pick the few things today is for, then give one your full attention with the focus timer.

THE BUG LIST

And the stuff that bugged you? Fixed.

Not everything you told us was a wish. Some of it was a bug report, and some of it stung to read. Here's what happened to each one.

Plans that disappeared

The old app kept everything in a local database on one phone — the reason plans could vanish. Intent stores your plan on the server, synced everywhere. Lose the phone, keep the plan.

Reminders that never fired

V1 let you set a reminder time and then quietly never delivered it. That one hurt to find. Intent schedules reminders on the server, and they actually arrive.

The recurring-task crash

Recurring tasks run on a new engine — edit one, edit the whole series, skip a day without breaking the rhythm. No crash.

The paywall before your first task

V1 asked for money at the front door. Intent has a real free tier — the matrix, your tasks, and Today's Focus — and Premium earns its keep on the extras, once you want them.

THE HONEST PART

Two things we owe you straight.

Widgets aren't in the beta.

Your biggest request we haven't shipped — 36 votes, marked “planned” on the old request board for far too long. Widgets are the first update after launch — we're saying it here, plainly, so you don't have to go digging for it.

The beta speaks English only.

PrioriPlanner shipped in 13 languages, and plenty of you run it in Arabic, German, Spanish, French, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Vietnamese, or Chinese. Rebuilding every screen meant rebuilding every translation, and we'd rather hand you good ones a little late than rough ones right now. If PrioriPlanner speaks your language, you haven't been forgotten — the full catalog returns after the beta.

THE INVITATION

Join the beta.

The beta runs through TestFlight, Apple's free app for pre-release software. If you don't have it yet, you'll be offered it right before you join. Before you tap, three things we want you to know going in:

Your data makes the move

Joining migrates your PrioriPlanner data into Intent's new home. Treat it as a one-way door — the beta is where your plan lives from that point on.

If you ever want the old app back

Reinstall PrioriPlanner from the App Store right over the beta. Install over it — never delete the beta first, or the data still on that phone leaves with it.

Your feedback lands with us

Use the feedback form inside the app, or take a screenshot in the beta and TestFlight will offer to send it. Both come straight to the team, and we read everything.

The public beta link isn't live quite yet — it lands right here first. Leave your email and it hits your inbox the moment it's up.
